During the recent dialogue meeting which took place in Kigali , President Kagame surprised Rwandans and donors who had attended the event when he pretended to wonder reasons as why Rwandans were becoming damn folded to the extent of failing to ask him any question of concern.
President Kagame wondering why people at a dialogue meeting were only praising him without any one daring to ask him any tangible question of his continued murder, arrests of his opponents and Journalist was pretence of the highest order.
President Kagame wouldn’t pretend to ask such question when he very well know that no Rwandan could have dared to ask such questions most especially when the single Rwandan who tried to publically do so in last year’s dialogue, Dr. Specioza Uwiherekeje who had come from Zambia, was attacked by Kagame’s security agents and forced her to recall all criticizing comments she had publically criticizing his Government.
Still no Rwandan could have dared to criticise President Kagame’s regime in Rwanda well knowing that Kagame himself banned all independent newspapers in country, his intelligence agents murdered journalist Rugambage Jean Leonard and forced other journalists to flee the country.
He was also asking this when he knew that Politicians like Andre Kagwa Rwisereka , Ntare Semadwiga Denis, among others, were beheaded for daring to criticize Kagame’s regime.
Kagame never runs short of drama scenes when he says that Rwandans do not need advocates that they can talk for themselves and at the same time wonders why they do not talk.
President Kagame daring to ask attendants of the Rwandan dialogue forum reasons as why Rwandans no longer speak or who would speak for them yet he very well knew that he had banned all independent media which they used to express in their thoughts is a mockery to entire Rwandans.
Kagame’s dictatorship has progressively gone far in that even the donors who tried to advise him of revising his autocratic way of leading the country where in return abused by the president in public .
These reasons are enough to remind president Kagame that Rwandans were damn folded by his own autocratic methods of assassinating and imprisoning all those who dare to criticize his oppressive regime.
Gender equality:
It is totally sad to find out that president Kagame hasn’t up to now realized that the entire international community and Rwandans at large are aware that his so called gender equality is more of putting women in decision making position as a sheer lie.
This is justified by his own deeds when he failed tolerate women journalists like Agnes Uwimana Nkusi and Saidati Mukakibibi who were imprisoned with heavy jail sentences simply because of criticizing president Kagame’s repressive regime. This also went far when he arrested the only Rwandan woman opposition politician Ingabire Victoire who had dared to challenge him and after all, this president Kagame dramatically claims to be among world models who promotes Gender equality.
Justice:
This also happened at the same time when President Kagame criticized the International court “ICTR “during the dialogue of failing to perform it’s duties, allegations many agree with Kagame given that this same court he accuses of failing to perform it’s duties has up to recently indeed failed to prosecute president Kagame himself and his army because of different war crimes and massacres they committed in Rwanda.
Analyst believe that international community failure to both arrest and prosecute president Kagame yet he is so far the only president who have shed blood of millions including victims of different nations has contributed to his progressive murder and human rights abuses.
President Kagame also used this dialogue to openly send message to Rwandans how he is determined to amend the constitution in order to allow himself more presidential terms.
His plans of amending the constitutions in favor of other presidential terms justifies reasons of his autocracy where he embarked on intimidating international community , media and activist in order to silence all who could dare criticize his repressive regime or advocate for the oppressed Rwandans.
