This documentary video on Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza shows how Rwandan government always reacted disproportionately and desperately against her and other people or organisations who slightly disagree with its policies. The video also documents how the government uses any means to silence any voice that talks about the RPF Crimes committed on the Rwandan people.
“The Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) should not shy away from free political competition after holding power for 16 years, especially since it claims having achieved National Unity and Reconciliation and having brought about an unprecedented economic development.”
Mentioning that RPF leadership commandeered atrocities is a crime that could get you sentenced to more than 25 years of imprisonment under the country’s “genocide ideology” laws. For this, many compare Victoire Ingabire to the American activist, Rosa Louise McCauley Parks whose act of defiance to segregation laws became an important symbol of the modern Civil Rights Movement and an international icon of resistance to racial segregation.
I am an African-American who grew up in the African Great Lakes Region and Western Africa.
I am strongly committed to human rights across the African Great Lakes region and beyond.
I strongly believe that spreading the untold truth about the ongoing crisis in the African Great Lakes region, no matter how unpleasant it might sound to many people, will surely lead my people to a better future in a timely manner.
I am a rare voice of the voiceless people currently living in Rwanda and in DRC.
My crucial duties consist in raising awareness about current political deadlock in Rwanda and its tragic consequences to the Rwandan people and the Congolese people as well.
