Rwanda: Fighting Revisionism is a Question of Morality

The survivors of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi have expressed bitter disappointment over letters written by Human Rights Watch and some scholars. The letters called upon the ICTR to indict and try members of the former Rwandese Patriotic Army (RPA) over alleged crimes before the UN court concludes business in 2010.

These people are not interested in delivering justice to the Rwandan people but are motivated by some kind of vengeance. It is clear that there exists a strong anti-Rwanda lobby committed to frustrating and ultimately failing the Rwandan government. But doing such by denying the facts of the Genocide is disturbing.

What is appalling is that these people have taken their campaign to revise the facts of the Genocide against the Tutsi into respectable Institutions like the United Nations.

Revisionism is not unique to the situation of Rwanda. Even as Barack Obama visited the Holocaust memorial in Germany, he spoke about the issue of revisionism with regard to the genocide against the Jews in Europe.

This says a lot about the seriousness of the issue and how important it is to confront those who seek to re-write this sad part of our history in Rwanda.

The discipline of the RPA soldiers as they fought to stop the Genocide when many abandoned the Rwandan people is beyond dispute.

The issue of confronting and challenging the deniers of the Genocide should not be left to the survivors only. All those who abhor Genocide must speak up against the revisionists. It is a question of morality and it is beyond political differences.

The West has supported the FPR regime for over 15 years, just to discover that ... they triggered the 1994 genocide, and that, with ongoing war in Congo that has killed as many as the holocaust ( over 6 millions), the same people are behind.
The official version can no longer resist the reality. Revisonnism is a natural behaviour when one realized, maybe somebody has been telling him lies.

If what you call revisionism is to allow the truth to be established (not the ubwenge you are specialists), then "revisonism" is a question of morality.

A truth even revised, remain the truth.
You have noting to fear about.

You do not need to fight for the truth.
The Truth is strong enought to survive a "review" because it just comes out even brighter.

However, a lie fears a "review".

It seems this is the case for the Kigali regime and believe me or not, we are gone in that direction for ever.

Because the world should know that while inviting the world to mourn your deaths, you (Kigali regime) are already out hunting down, and killing congoleses by million.

In those days, when claiming you are trying to chase out genocidaires hutu (Rwandese not congolese),you are occupying the whole Country, with Kabarebe as Chief of the army of Congo in Kinshasa, the number of genocidaires you were supposed to suppress remained same.

Until today...While congoleses are dying by the million.

The opulation of your white supporters has a moral problem every time they learn that all the rapes and killings in Congo are always, where there is a tutsi in the vicinity.

No tutsi, no monuc, no job, no killing, no rape,Disturbing isnt'it?

Do you know what, time is not helping you.

You are about to be very disturbed.
