UK Gives Rwanda Tough Ultimatum

The UK House of Commons has summoned the Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Louise Mushikiwabo to appear before it and answer some hard questions on the situation in the tiny but “attractive” East African country.

Our sober sources in London tell 256news.com that the House of Commons has prepared very tough terms for Rwanda which if not met will see strategic sanctions snapped in place.
The House is demanding that Rwanda releases all political prisoners before soon to be re-elected President, Paul Kagame, is sworn in and restore the rights of journalists and citizens within a period of six months all else all financial Aid will be chopped. The other demand is that all opponents in exile must be allowed back home into a stable environment that the home government must facilitate without fail.

Specifically, Aid to the High Media Council will be the first to go. Rwanda has been pressing for the funding in recent days.

Rwanda goes to the polls on Monday where President Kagame is facing three other inconsequential candidates. The other candidates are Prosper Higiro (PL), Dr Jean Damascene Ntawukuriryayo (PSD) and Dr Alvera Mukabaramba (PPC). Most of the formidable opponents are under arrest, others were blocked from registering their parties, others in exile while yet others are dead.
