RWANDA: RESOLUTION OF THE INTERIM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WITH REGARD TO THE ALLIANCE BETWEEN FDU-INKINGI AND RNC

RESOLUTION OF THE INTERIM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

On the recommendation of the FDU-INKINGI Chairperson, Ms. Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza, the Bureau of the Interim Executive Committee was meeting today in Kigali to decide on the follow up of the discussions with other Rwandan political organisations.

The committee praises Madam Victoire Ingabire Umuhoza for her leadership and her commitment to head the party delegation in the joint platform with other political groups committed to a non violent change in Rwanda, to the respect of the rule of law, human rights and fundamental freedoms. Due to her continued detention in prison, she entrusts Mr. Nkiko Nsengimana, the acting Coordinator between FDU-INKINGI and the Support Committee, to pursue the contacts on her behalf and to take the necessary steps in this respect.

She demands that Rwandans in general and party members in particular, be given a timely information on the progress of the freedom whirl so the right time they set in motion the momentum change.
